Ball Battle is a public table that never stops. Everyone watching sees the same round, the same chips landing and the same drop, so there is no lobby and no matchmaking: the page joins the table that is always running.
Betting is open for a short window each round. When it closes, two balls are released from the dealer's palms and fall through the pegs. The first ball to reach the bottom wins, and everyone who backed that side is paid.
- How is the winning side chosen?
- Every race in the library was run in advance by a physics simulation. Each round draws one race using a secret from a published seed chain combined with a fingerprint of every chip placed that round. The side that wins is the side that won that race.
- Can I check that a round was fair?
- Yes. When the balls land, the round's secret is published. Hashing it gives the seed published before it, and combining it with the chip fingerprint gives the race. The fairness page re-runs any round for you, step by step.
- Can I bet on both red and blue?
- Yes. Chips stack, and you may back both sides in the same round.
- Do I need an account to play Ball Battle?
- Anyone can watch the table. Placing chips needs a signed-in SlideBattle account with a balance.
